“As I kneal before His mighty throne, the sound of the angles sing praises. I do not kneal in fear but in reverance. For as I sit at the feet of the Father, I begin to sing songs of praise and declare that I am ready to lay down my life. In that moment, He speaks and declares that I am no longer a child of the world but am a heiress to His Kingdom. He commands that in this moment, I am to lay to death my flesh. To leave all that was apart of the worldly ways at His feet and in doing so, rise to take my place at the right side of His throne.”
In that moment, I came to realize that God isn’t just a religion to follow, that He is a God who loves and yearns for a relationship with His children. How beautiful is it to see that once accepting Jesus into our hearts we are no longer living just to die and go to heaven but to bring heaven here? Through Jesus I am to bring His Kingdom to this earth, and to do so, I must no longer conform to the ways of the world but take my place as a daughter of the King. The Kingdom of God is where the manifestation of God dwells, and that is within the hearts of His children through His Holy Spirit residing within us.
“The Kingdom of God does not come with your careful observation, nor will people say ‘Here it is” or “There it is” because the Kingdom of God is within you.”Luke 17:20-21
Jesus came to restore the world, He planted the seed of redepmtion and restoration through His death- entrusting His followers to continue the work of harvesting and sowing through the power of His Holy Spirit. The Kingdom of God is all that Our Father stands for. As the Kingdom we stand in goes against the ways of the world, we must stand firm in our unshakable Kingdom that is eternal rather than apart of a world that is only for a moment. Many have come to think that heaven is only for after we die, but that is not what Christ died for. Through Christ, He is the very essence of eternal life. His Holy Spirit within us is the Kingdom of God, for we are His temples. We do not have to wait until dieing to be in heaven, for we can have it here. We can have it now with all its fullness.
“Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit lives in you?” 1 Corinthians 3:16
The Kingdom of God is bringing Heaven to earth, through allowing the Holy Spirit to transform us into the likeness of Christ. For Christ is alive in us and He reigns. To bring the Kingdom we need to first learn how to operate within the Kingdom, to learn how to recieve all of our inheritance and use it for the glory of God. May we seek His Kingdom, live for an awareness of it, an understanding of how to operate and live it through and all else we seek will come.
“But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” Matthew 6:33
Just as the story of the son that ran away, the father could not have gone and brought his treasures, to his son in the places he lived and life he was partaking in, for he would have not used the gifts for good. The father waited for the son to come back to his home, to come back to his place; so all that was awaiting the son would be used properly and his inheritance would be to bring the family honor and glory rather than being sqandered in the world.
We must come to see that Christ died, leaving us His fullness, the Holy Spirit. And in doing so, when asking through His name, His power can be brought and shone through. His miracles are for today, His healings are available for all, His supernatural power is waiting for His sons and daughters to learn how to operate within the Kingdom to bring it forth.
“Never say the moons the limit when we have already received the Kingdom”
May we as followers of Christ, stand in our identity, and become men and women empowered by the Holy Spirit. And in doing so, learn how to operate within the heavenly realm, understanding how to use our inhertance to bring the Lord glory and not squander all that has been entrusted to us. May we rise up and allow the Kingdom to be brought through us. May we spark the fire within our hearts to live passionatly for the King in bringing His Kingdom to earth through His love and power.
“And as you go, preach, saying, ‘The kingdom of heaven is at hand.’ Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, cast out demons. Freely you received, freely give.” Matthew 10:7-8
