Whatever situation you may be going through.
Whatever you may be feeling.
Whatever mountain you have reached.
Be reminded that the Lord is doing something, He has not left you. He has not forsaken you.
Even if you don’t believe in God, whatever you are going through, there is hope.
There is something or someone that will remind you of the hope of better days.
Don’t look past that and don’t ignore them.
Let other people love you, and learn to love others even through difficult times.
It’s okay to be broken, there is beauty in allowing oneself to be broken.
However remember that brokenness is not a state of life, is it but a period in which we grieve, mourn and move past.
Find someone in whom you can be broken with and let them speak the words your heart needs to hear.
What you are going through matters,
You matter, your situation matters and that is not to be overlooked.
Keep your heart soft, eyes looking for beauty and ears opened to hear.
For there is something in the midst of the chaos that will shine light into what you may not be able to see;
It will remind you that over this mountain is a valley,
That over this mountain is newness,
Over this mountain is what you are hoping for.
Don’t let your circumstance stop you from seeing what’s past it.
Don’t let your eyes be so fixed on what is infront of you that you cannot find joy in the little things around you.
This may not be the season for your dreams to come to fruition but that doesn’t mean they still won’t happen.
For just like the seasons of the year, there are seasons we go through,
Seasons like winter where we learn that even though it is cold, gloomy and painfully long-nature still needs it and there is still growth that happens.
Although you may be in a period where your dreams are not coming to pass and you feel stuck hoping for better days,
Keep moving forward and be reminded that through perseverance, character is built.
You are an overcomer and as you keep your eyes fixed heavenward remembering that there is something far better than any earthly possession-a eternal glory, take heart and keep moving.
“No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.”
For no matter what you see or don’t see, as long as you are moving forward, whatever you are working towards and hoping for, will come.
If I can say anything it would be that all the things we face on earth, only hold onto that which will stand before the King. For when we stand before Him, I don’t want anything that is not of Him to remain in me.
No matter the trials, the challenges, the heartbreak and hardships I face here and now-there is always hope, because Jesus has gone before us and declared victory over these things. That although they will still happen, we are no longer chained down by them, we are able to let it all go and look to Him. Realizing that in Him we have the hope of glory, so may we all
“Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.”
I believe in you and all that you are facing, you can overcome-because He has overcome for you.
“I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world.”
The best is yet to come, keep your head up and eyes fixed on Him.
For no matter how deep the water feels, it’s not that deep-you can always stand up in it.
And no matter how hard it is to trudge through, there is no rush.
Walk as slow as you have too, just never stop and give up. For there is no way another can measure growth in another persons heart. For the Lord looks at the heart. Whatever we face, may we have the courage and perseverance to keep walking and steadfastly walking towards Him who walks with us and before us, preparing the way.
“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”
